New Patients at Moore Chiropractic Group
Your First Visit
Before your first visit, please print and fill out your comprehensive new patient paperwork. Walking through the door of our century home office, you’ll be warmly greeted by our staff and asked for your intake paperwork. The more detail you provide about your health history and current challenges, the more accurately Dr. Moore or Dr. Pike can identify the root cause and design your corrective care plan.
Consultation & Examination
Your doctor will review your paperwork thoroughly, then bring you to a consultation room to discuss every detail. Word from the wise: be prepared when Dr. Moore asks every new patient, “What makes your body work?” This question begins your education about the brain-body connection and how your nervous system controls every aspect of your health.
Please describe in detail your current health concerns and any previous conditions—things that happened years ago often play significant roles in present-day challenges. Once your doctor fully understands your situation, they’ll complete a thorough examination and determine whether EMG/Thermographic scans, digital X-ray imaging, or GaitScan analysis are necessary.
Digital X-Ray Analysis: The Foundation of Precision Care
In approximately 95% of cases, digital X-ray imaging is clinically necessary to fully understand the structural cause of your condition. This isn’t an upsell—it’s the diagnostic foundation that separates guesswork from precision corrective care. Your X-rays reveal misalignments, degenerative changes, pelvic imbalances, and spinal compensations measured to the millimeter, allowing Dr. Moore or Dr. Pike to design a care plan specific to your structural needs.
Investment & Scheduling Your Report
Your initial consultation, examination, and any necessary diagnostic testing (including digital X-rays when indicated) typically ranges from $200-400. Moore Chiropractic Group operates on a cash basis, allowing us to focus entirely on your care rather than insurance company limitations. However, we provide detailed itemized receipts formatted for easy submission to your extended health insurance provider for reimbursement. Most patients have coverage between $500-700 annually.
For your first visit, please allow approximately one hour. Before you leave, our front desk will help you schedule your Report of Findings appointment. If your spouse or significant other is involved in health or financial decisions, we strongly encourage their attendance at this critical second visit.
Your Second Visit: Report of Findings & Doctor’s Report
Please allow approximately one hour, or this may be divided into two half-hour visits depending on scheduling.
During this appointment, Dr. Moore or Dr. Pike will help you understand how your body works through your nervous system and why you’re experiencing your current symptoms. You’ll review your digital X-ray images together—most patients immediately recognize their structural problems when viewing the precision measurements and overlay lines.
Your doctor will explain any scans performed and correlate all findings to show you the complete picture of what’s affecting your health. The goal is ensuring you fully understand not just why symptoms exist, but how structural correction will eliminate them long-term by restoring proper nervous system communication.
Care Recommendations
Dr. Moore or Dr. Pike will provide their best recommendations for corrective care based on your diagnostic findings. The choice to proceed is entirely yours. If you decide to begin care, your doctor will perform your first gentle adjustment immediately following this report, and your future appointments will be scheduled.
We strongly encourage your spouse or significant other to attend this visit so they can:
- Understand the wellness journey you’re embarking upon
- Support you throughout the process and ask questions you may not consider
- Participate in any care or financial decisions
Come prepared with your schedule or day planner to book your initial care appointments.
Regular Care Visits
Once you begin corrective care, typical adjustment visits are efficient and focused—usually completed in less than 15 minutes. Here’s what to expect:
Arrival: You’ll be greeted by our front desk. We ask that you remove your shoes to help maintain our home-like environment and allow your doctor to analyze your posture and balance accurately at each visit. Watch for new health tips and information throughout the office designed to help you understand more about your body, chiropractic and health care in general!
Brief Wait: Dr. Moore and Dr. Pike typically run on schedule, so you’ll have just a few minutes to review our new health tip and information while seated in the treatment area. (Your doctor may quiz you on the information!)
Your Adjustment: When called, step onto the foot plate of our Zenith hi-lo table. Your doctor will lower the table, perform your specific adjustments, then raise it when complete. If something feels particularly helpful or uncomfortable, please communicate immediately so your doctor can accommodate your needs.
Check Out: Come to the front desk to confirm your next appointment. If you need to make slight changes to your appointment schedule you can do that with the front desk. Any major changes need to be made between you and your doctor to ensure your care stays on track.
Because your doctor has completed thorough diagnostics, they know precisely which areas to adjust to move your progress forward—making these visits quick and efficient without sacrificing quality.
